We’re Torsh, an educational technology start-up! Currently we are a team of 7 former educators, data analysts, engineers, and technology gurus dedicated to supporting educators in their most important work. We’re excited to meet you and start this blogging journey together.
On our Company page, you can view our pictures and our full bios. We’d also love to hear more and learn about you! Send us some comments telling us about who you are, what your role is in the world of education, and what type of educational content most inspires you!
A little bit about us: Since 2011, Torsh has worked to drive significant gains in student success by improving instructional effectiveness. Our flagship product, Torsh TALENT, is an online teacher PD platform that harnesses the power of video, actionable data and expert coaching to promote high quality growth opportunities for educators, accessible at anytime and from anywhere. We believe in the power of video! It has the capacity to give educators an opportunity to reflect on practice, collaborate with others, measure the effectiveness of classroom instruction, and receive high quality coaching at scale.
Our model is to create innovative technology alongside educators for the best possible results and implementation. That’s why we continually listen to our customers about what works and does not work for them. We don’t want to build a platform that works but one that works well and meets the needs of our varied customers!
About the blog: Our blog will be focused on educational technology and its role in supporting educators implement great practice. We’re interested in providing a space where current schools, higher educational institutions and educational consultant organizations can find up-to-date information about innovative technology used to support educator growth and development. Our goal is to provide you with not only the technology available, but also the various use cases, the path to successful implementation, the common pitfalls, and the amazing results and benefits that current schools and organizations are experiencing.
